I don't really shop on ebay for cars, so I am not familiar with going rates for Audi's on ebay. Is this typical?

Default Ebay is not an accurate indicator of market value.

Everything on Ebay is priced lower than it would be in a private sale or even a dealer trade-in. People are buying sight-unseen, so the price reflects some anxiety in the transaction.

Default Ebay prices are a bit low because of the sight-unseen nature of the transaction.

Cars generally sell 10-20% less on there.

2001 tips with milage that high around here seem to be more like $24k or so.
