Ebay is not an accurate indicator of market value.
Everything on Ebay is priced lower than it would be in a private sale or even a dealer trade-in. People are buying sight-unseen, so the price reflects some anxiety in the transaction.

Ebay prices are a bit low because of the sight-unseen nature of the transaction.
Cars generally sell 10-20% less on there.
2001 tips with milage that high around here seem to be more like $24k or so.
