Are these cars designed for the same f**king 35mph roads I drive on?

I cannot BELIEVE how fast cars are now given the amount of traffic and low driver ability...just couldnt believe seeing that.

2002 Maxima, 260hp and a 6-speed and LSD (even though its FWD)...I mean how fast will THAT be? The 996 board is bitching and moaning over the measley 0-60 in 5 that the 996 does...my 996 would have won LEMANS if I could teleport it back to the 60s.

The thing is...horsepower wars can't go on indefinitely so what does a manufacturer do when their sedan has to LOSE 200hp?

Yes, it's the same engine as Supra TT has. It's built in that way.

Audi, BMW, Lexus, Acura, Mazda, Nissan, etc....it is going to be exciting in the next 3-4 years in terms of HP that we will see on the roads...I cant wait for the 2004 S4...mmmmm please please be a twin turbo v-8!! :-)

The key is acceptable gas mileage w/ all this HP...going to be pretty exciting.

I think there going to use the W8 personally. Not sure if it will be turbocharged though.

Look on the main Audiworld page. They're doing direct inject on gas engines. MPG =+8-15%
