x-post for stoptech owners....
has anyone 'touched up' their calipers? i have some scratches on the side of the caliper from wheel weights. i have some high temp black paint that i used for the rear calipers, but it is no where near as glossy as the stoptech paint. anyone have suggestions on what to use? should i just say f**k it and leave them scraped? or use the black duller paint since its only a small area? how much is it for a full repaint? maybe i'll change the color to red

I think repainting them would be prohibitively expensive.
Probably about $200 or so believe it or not. I contacted Stoptech about getting some of the red paint so I could match up my rear calipers. Matt gave me the number of the place in Cali that paint their calipers and I called the dude. It's a hi temp paint, and a certain process, and yadayada I decided it was too much money and pain.
Leave them scratched up, it lends that whole "I've been racin' and beatin' up my car" mystique.

its not that noticable anyway. actually, i dont think you can see it unless the wheel is off and you're looking inside the wheel well. still bugs the crap out of me.
