X-Post: For those uber tuner folks....
Learning a bit about VAG and just wanted to double check that I am on the right track. When you tune with VAG what blocks do you log? What are they and what are the norm values (max/min?)?
So far I have:
003- MAF/RPM (obviously the values vary)
029- Knock Voltages (want mid teens, no more than 20v max)
031- O2 voltage (less than .85?)
032- LTFT (keep it close to 0%, no more than 10% +/-. field one is trim at idle, field two is on load)
034/043- Left and Right Bank EGT (less than 980 c)
114/115- Req boost vrs Act boost
Am I missing anything here? Is what I wrote accurate? What about Lambda (033/107)? What about Retard angle (020)?
Lastly when working with Lemmiwinks whats the difference between chanel 8 and chanel 10?
Thanks!
Rob

A few things...
003 is also for timing
026/027 are KV's and you can go well into the 20's on a cylinder or two with no performance decrease. 020 and 021 can be used with it.
031 is not accurate (DAP posted on this not too long ago) but consider yourself good if you have between .83 and .86 throughout the range. You can also use your calculated EGT's to get a good idea (034) between the two.
032 is fine if it's around 5%. It's going to adjust a bit to atmospheric conditions.
004 you can use for IAT, pretty important.
033 is short term fuel trims, good to look at while you're tuning fuel along with 032.
Lambda % in this and 107 should be less than 10% either direction.
Hope this helps,

On 91oct I've noticed that some cars do a bit better bumping 031
up to the 0.88V range. It varies though so you need to test a lot to make sure, but that's a trend I've seen here in Norcal.
