Xenon Question
Hey Guys,
Just got a quick question, I have a Xenon opportunity forming, and I just wanted to make sure I have and understand everything clearly. I have a 99.5 A4, with the one piece headlights, and from my understanding in the tech article I can retrofit Xenon's into my projector housings. All the Xenon part's that might get sold to me from a used S4, are just the stock DS2 Xenon bulbs, and the ballists. Is that all I need? I saw in the tech there were wiring harness's as well, so I wasn't sure. All I am going to be getting are the bulbs and ballists, and I just wanted to make sure if that's all I needed, or if there were any other parts I needed as well. Thanks guys for all your help, advice, and time so far!

a couple things...
in addition to what madman and others listed. you will need to drill roughly a rectangular slot on the bottom of the housing. the stock s4 ballast will mount there flush with the same screw holes
you will need to splice or solder the ballast power wires to the stock h7 bulb connector
then fabricate or find some h7 adapters for the d2s. if not.. its still a semi ok fit, just that it might turn while in the socket. d2s and h7 filament depths are with in 1mm of each other. not too bad.
thats it. HTHs
