Default XP: is it possible to run 235 or 245 /45/19 tires and rims

this is an xpost from the A4...

I was wondering if the increased diameter will fit ?
It should give a larger contact patch from the increased diameter, more aggressive look and fill the wheel well better without lovering the car dangerously on bad roads.

and if you got pics than please post them.

thx<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/threads/857023.phtml">xp</a></li></ul>

I believe djillusion runs 235's on a 19. Not sure of the profile.

Default

in addition the larger diameter would allow for 10% more speed per gear

Default No way. I have 245/40/18s and there's about 1mm of clearance on the rear upright.

It's not the width, it's the height that is going to kill you.

You should keep the overall diameter the same, just lower the profile.

Default I am running 235/35/19's

<center><img src="http://gallery.trumpio.com/albums/SuspensionRebuild/IMG_0603.sized.jpg"></center><p>I had to modify my front fenders a bit (and remove part of the fender liner).

I'm also running -2.2* of camber on the street. The picture of the car at the bottom is with the older 235 toyos which were more like 225's.
