Default Which year is better, or doesn't it matter?

I am buying MY S4 finally (hence the name) in January. I nearly bouught a new one (2001) in April but decided to wait and buy slightly used and save myself a few thousand bucks. My real question is do I want a 2000 or a 2001, because I heard the 2000 don't really enjoy being chipped to like 300+ horses and the 2001 were somehow redone to accomidate that. I may be way off here, so will someone let me know the truth. I would surely appreiate that. Thanks

Eric

I don't think you're way off, try and get one built around late fall of last year.

Default Yeah, that'll work. I mention it because of updated turbochargers and the fact that I...

know a few people, on the Forum and a couple around Michigan who have the models from that time frame who haven't had many problems. Granted, they didn't have enough time to ruin their cars yet, but I'm running a 12/00 hard with no problems, but I only put on 3000 miles so far, so I'm not a good example.
