I asked the mechanic that installed K04Madness' APR stage3 kit...and they swapped out the S4 MAF sensor into RS4 housing.
The RS4 housing is in fact larger diam.
Apprently it seems to work for both APR stg3 and AMS stg5 chips running the same hardware.
