2016 S6, things to look for
HI,
Brand new to the forums, been looking around but the amount of information in here is really impressive and a tad overwhelming.
Anyway, I am getting ready to purchase a 2016 S6, premium plus, Audi certified, with about 45k miles on it. Audi certified gives me 5 years, unlimited miles from in service date so I have probably 2 more years of warranty coverage.
Anything I need to know to watch out for as I move through the purchasing process? If it's Audi certified, is it fair to expect that all required maintenance up to this point has been done and that documentation can be provided? I see that some threads mention fidelity for warranty coverage. Is that the preferred way to go rather than through the dealer? I usually keep my cars until I can't stand looking at them anymore, current vehicle has over 190k miles on it and I want something else now.
Anything specific I should look for on the car itself? Normal areas that have failed for multiple owners around 40k miles that should be repaired before I leave the dealership?
Any other suggestions about the best way to make this a happy transaction would be appreciated.
Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to being an Audi owner soon.
