Default Audi Care

Hi All,

Tried a search but not much info. I have a 2016 S6 with 9000 miles but is almost due for it's annual service (its almost been one year since the 5k).

I've always had Audi Care on our other/past cars, but did not get it when I bought the S6. Reading the online pdf, it seems to only cover oil services, air/cabin filters, and brake fluid every 2 years. Am I missing something ? Just covering those doesn't seem to justify the $1179 cost. I have a very competent Audi Indy, and heck even paying the dealer each time doesn't seem that far off from buying the Audi Care package.

Does Audi Care provide some other benefit or cover something crazy pricey that I'm missing?

Thanks!

I had them run the cost at the dealer. It would be $2500 for the services covered by Audicare so its a great deal given the convenience (for me). Not sure Indy shop would give you loaner and a car wash too :-)

It is every 10,000 miles or 1yr.

Here are all the details and its well worth the price (even though more expensive on the S6 because of additional maintenance items).

I did get loaner and car wash as well on my first audicare service (although at the 1 year past 5,000 mile checkup I was only at 11,000 miles).

It's totally worth it ($1100 < $2500) but I wouldn't ever let the dealer touch my car when it comes to washing, so I guess I'm not getting the most out of it LOL

Found out big one is the 35k service, which includes transmission fluid and spark plugs etc... that service alone is a couple hundred more than Audi Care.

I agree Tinbad, having the dealer wash my car is my literal worst nightmare, as in I would rather be trapped in a small room with an African lion than have any of my cars go through their scratch and swirl

My dealer uses lions to wash the car by mane. Its a hand wash.

My car just had its last Audi Care under the OEM warranty period (I know it wasn't part of the warranty), so now I'm thinking about getting the next set. I assume it's worth it, but I'm interested to any thoughts about year 5+

You mean a glacier white car is not supposed to turn silver after a dealer car wash?

I am negotiating on an A6 CPO now (11k miles). Has anyone ever had luck getting audi care thrown in as an incentive?
