I did not make the purchase. A tech at Audi dealer did it.
However, here are some websites:

FCP Euro has quality pads and rotors for reasonable prices. A full set of front and rear rotors and ceramic pads will run you $620. FCP has a lifetime replacement warranty on EVERYTHING, even used motor oil. You just have to pay the shipping. Cheaper than just 1 pair of those girodisc rotors.

This link is for Zimmerman rotors and TRW ceramic pads. Zimmerman are the OEM rotors. I recently bought a set for the front of my A7. OEM rotors were $250+ while the Zimmerman packaged rotors were $175. Same damn thing without the 4 ring surcharge.

Not sure it's helpful (for price comparision) since I'm in Europe, but I recently put on Zimmermanns + EBC Red Stuff pads, on all corners on my 2018 S6 Avant. Nice pedal feel, same retardation and noticably less brake pad dust on the wheels compared to stock pads.

That kit is however not for an S6. S6 has 400mm front discs. But I am sure FCP Euro has something else that fits.

SON OF A PUP!!!!

Yeah you are right, when I looked them up (coffee deprived) I did not realize I had my car selected (A7). Yes, FCP has full kits for the S models starting at about $850 or so, more if you want EBC yellow or red pads. I am not well versed in the 1,000+ combinations of pads out there so I have no idea what is better or worse. All I know is to get quality ceramic pads unless you enjoy washing the car every 4 days to get rid of the black pad dust.
