Commission Number tracking
Does anyone here have access to the Audi system for commission number tracking? I ordered a fantastic S6 in January and haven't been able to get any dealer updates.
Privates message are also great if you want to do it off line.
The commission number is HX9273.
Thanks a bunch. The wait is killing me!

I suggest you call Audi Customer Service and inquire about the status of your order. Also tell them that your dealer was not able to give you any status updates. Normally, your dealer can provide you with this information.

It should take your dealer less than 5 minutes to get this info from AccessAudi.com. Make sure they also sign you up for the Owner in Waiting program and Audi will send you emails throughout the build process.

I have similar issue. I placed an order and had no idea when / if it was in production. I did an online chat with Audiusa.com about 5 days ago. I gave them the comm #, dealer ID and my name. Just got email that the vehicle is in production and due to be completed by March 29th.
When I emailed the dealer Saturday all he said was that he could see the order had an ETA of May. Completely worthless....

I got an update from the dealer. The car arrived in Port on 3/15/16. I'm in Boston so hopefully they will get it to the dealership soon. The port is only about 35 miles away in RI so not sure why it's taking so long! I'm anxiously awaiting!

It won't be long now. Just a few more winks. All cars that land in the US need to have port-installed accessories installed. These accessories include badges, floor mats, first aid kit, jack, tools, etc. It will take some time before the cars go through that process and get loaded up trucks for delivery. Then when it arrives at the dealer, it will need 1 to 3 days before it goes through PDI.

If your car was in port on the 15th, it should be released to the transport company within 2-4 days. After that it is between 2-6 days to get to your dealership. The distance away isn't as important as how many cars are going to the dealership. Mine arrived in port on the 8th and was released to the trucker on the 10th. It arrived at the dealership, along with 2 other full trucks of cars, on the 14th. Picked it up on the 16th.

I still haven't gotten the car yet. We had a mild snow storm yesterday in New England so that may have slowed down the port logistics. I have never waited this long once the car got to port as a sold car before.

Unless there was a problem in port, it should get to your dealer this week. They can check to see if it has been released from the port for you. Once that happens it is usually only a day or two to get to a New England dealer. Six days from the ship getting to port and still not having your car is pretty normal. The car shows in port once the ship docks, not when it is off loaded.
