My S6 the other day slammed on the brakes when entering my garage. All the sensors for braking came on. I'm bringing it in next week for the acceleration issues and I'm going to have them look into it.

Yes! I cannot stand this system. It has probably happened to me 5 times since I have had the car. Not sure if it is just coincidence but it seems like it happens when it is raining. What usually happens is that someone ahead is turning left. After initially braking, I start to accelerate as they begin to make their turn and then SLAM- the car stops on its own. Not a fun experience and I have been lucky not to have been rear ended each time. Dealer could not diagnose problem and had not heard of it before. I asked if the system could be disabled and was told it could not.

Don't have an Audi yet, but my Porsche Macan does this from time to time. I was told that it has to do with the hill assist feature.

Happy to have excluded that from my order. I had it on my last one and really detracted from my enjoyment of the car.
