Tire Pressures
So---age old question. I just put a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires on my S6. Have the pressure(s) set at 36 Front 38 rear when not fully loaded and the temps outside are in the 70's> Does this sound about right? Reason I'm checking is I know the compounds and technology changes all the time. Why not "best" pressures to run? --Not interested in track pressures or fully loaded. Just for spirited driving around town. Thanks

You did not mention wheel/tire size.
For my S6:
PSS 255/35-20 44/39
Currently any less risks a bent rim in my experience.

For what it is worth, I run 44 / 44 on my S7. I find the car handles better and has less tramlining at the higher pressures. Ride comfort does not seem to be compromised.

My tires are 255/35/20's. Sorry. I run 36 front and 38 rear. So far we have 44/39 ( I'm assuming everyone is talking Front/Rear as the "book" says). We also have 44/44. Today it was 96 degrees outside and the car was much lighter on it's feet. (I think the pressure goes up 1 pound for every 10 degrees in temp change). I would not have wanted to be any higher. ( high is good but not too high---life and tires LOL). Maybe I'm just fussy but I'm trying to nail this down before leaving on a 2000 road trip in a couple of weeks. Thanks again. --If it matters the car is full of mods. Slightly lower, wider, Sways and a lot of APR and AWE.
