I'm planning on running a set of replicas in a 19" from these guys:
http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/

Definitely not OEM quality, but people have reported pretty good results from them. For three months out of the year, I think they'll be fine. Probably going to go with the S4 "peelers" style.

Is $300 enough savings to justify not spending $1000 on the real thing?

Umm, you know the prices on Rob's OEM wheels page are PER WHEEL, not per set, right? Those are MSRPs, so I'm sure they're available cheaper online, but the cheapest I found for the 19" C7 S6 wheel (part 4G0 601 025 H) is $394/ea plus shipping. OEM Wheels Plus has 19"s that will fit for $719/set shipped, which is less than half price. Plus, they'll source me the snow tires I want at a reasonable price and mount/balance them for free. To me, saving ~$1000+ is worth it.

I'm sorry, I totally misunderstood.

As said, I'm looking to get my wheels from a place that also carries the snows I want and do "one-stop shopping", but for anyone else looking for OEM snows $1000 for the OEM 19" peelers is a great deal.

I can ship them to any tire dealer for tires to be installed. Same difference. I will test fit them on my S6 by next weekend to assure they'd work on our cars.

I spent approx $680 for a replacement 20" from the dealership. It had to be shipped from Germany, as there were none in the States at that time.

My plan is to source some titanium-ish 19's, then fit snows to the stockers and use the stockers for winter. This should help with the brake dust issue.

I admit I haven't yet done my homework (on or off this forum), but if anyone has suggestions for titanium 19's, please post and thanks in advance.
