Order Options Conundrum
I am coming out of a 2015 A6 TDI and looking hard at ordering a C8 S6.
Perusing Audi's website to build what I am looking for and two areas have me questioning which direction to take.
First, is the choice between the air suspension and the S Sport adaptive steel suspension.
Second, is the choice between sport seats and the contour front seats included in the Luxury package.
I certainly would appreciate any comments/thoughts on this. Thank you in advance.

Can't advise you on the specific merits of your options, however bear in mind that going after anything other than "stock" can currently increase the build time significantly, especially if that option requires semiconductors. If you able to wait (possibly up to 12 months) then fine but if you need something sooner you may need to compromise on your choice. Upside of a delay is that you would probably get the facelift version which is expected to be announced later this year. Also this is not an Audi problem all manufacturers are struggling at the moment and the many European manufacturers have the added complication that the main supplier for their wiring looms is based in Ukraine meaning they are having to now find alternative suppliers and that all takes time

I prefer the air suspension and the sport seats. The sport seats are supremely comfortable, albeit not ventilated, and they also are the best looking seats of any production sedan IMO. The air suspension is a higher performance setup and more versatile, the only reason I can think to go steel is if you are planning to own the car off warranty or are going to alter the suspension in the aftermarket.
