I have had a 2016 S7 for a week now and twice I have backed it into a parking space (once at work and once in my garage at home) and both times the engine has shutoff once I have come to a complete stop and put the car in park without me pushing the off button.

Then this morning, there was a bad accident on the interstate and police, fire and EMS were coming from behind so I pulled over to the side of the road as far as I could...and the engine/power steering all went dead while in park! I didn't have to put the car in park/start again...I just pushed on the gas a little and it acted as if nothing had happened...making me think there is a feature...but it isn't doing this at red lights or anything...just randomly.

Is there a feature that I don't know about here? Or is something wrong?

I also have a 2016 S7 and this has never happened to me.

It's a feature, if you come to a complete stop and put the gearbox to park, the engine automatically shuts off, steering wheel is also locked, I have driven A5 and S7, both have the feature, not sure if it's possible to disable it.

Did few more test these days, the engine automatically shuts off after I stop the car, put the gearbox to park and take off seat belt.

It’s called “Start Stop”. It’s a gas saving feature of most Audi’s these days.

If this is actually a "feature" it is not turned on by default. In over 40,000 miles in my S7 this has never happened to me.
