I got a new job

I start Monday and have a small office in the Grand Summit Hotel, right next to the gondola. It should be a fun gig, since I get to move around the mountain for the job. It will be quite a shock for me to go from my 12 step commute to 2 miles! I doubt I will drive there in good weather and the bus is always a five minute walk option as well. Job description below.
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Design, analyze, and implement technology related solutions to business work flow and data processing challenges.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Point of Sales, and Resort Operations business units to analyze user requirements, work flow, and associated business processes. Support all POS Systems and data processing needs. Assist with configuration and customization of current systems including Siriusware, Digital Dining, Food Track, Maintenance Connection, WRMS, and others Develop and support reporting in MS Reporting Services. Assist with coordinating support of related database systems. May include helping to develop appropriate backup and reporting environments. Identify and correct areas of weakness in business processes and data analysis. Analyze and recommend commercially available software or develop custom application solutions where applicable. Provide technical business support as related to retail outlets and resort administration Recommend appropriate solutions to data processing needs. Includes gaining an understanding of business needs and analyzing the data processing needs required. Prepare/maintain accurate documentation pertaining to support procedures and business standards.. Assess needs of personnel and provide/coordinate end user training sessions as necessary. Assist in support of other systems as needed as a member of the IT Operations team.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to IT Director as well as working in a collaborative relationship with the rest of the IT team. Works closely with key users in Revenue departments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to move around the mountain in summer and winter conditions by either powered or un-powered means. Repetitive keyboard action. Ability to lift heavy objects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to think critically, learn quickly, and solve problems creatively. Experience with SQL and MS Reporting Services. Ability to work independently and under general supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management and prioritization skills required.
