2015 a5 radio screen with white lines in it
There are 2 white lines that appeared in my radio screen after having the car for about 7 months. The dealership says it not covered under warranty bc I must have hit the dash which they deduced by taking photos. I did not hit the dash and this sounds sketchy to me. What is wrong and is it possible to ascertain if the screen was struck by taking photos and enlargin them. I bought the car preowned so it may have been struck prior to me owning it, but there were no lines for 7 months.

He may be in wrong forum, but the simple answer to lcd screens with lines is, this does happen at times with age. extreme heat or cold could cause it as well as impact. I would assume, that you could replace just the screen with a like part, but it is an Audi and it may be more than just replacing the screen.See if you can find a part number and do a general search on google for more information.
