4.0TFSI engine vibration at 1000 and 3000 RPM
I bought a CPO 2015 S8 with very low miles 11200 back in March of this year. Car is very clean inside and out and I noticed a vibration at a certain speed but attributed it to pavement or road ripples. I read this forum and found that it was a known issue and that there was a TSB put out in February which mentioned a software update for the engine mounts, has anybody on this forum had this TSB performed and did this resolve the problem? Then I found a couple of you who have had the downpipes replaced to solve the same problem, and how did this work did it solve the vibration issue? So which fix really works to solve this issue? How about APR downpipes I've been wanting to put these on anyway will these eliminate the 1000 and 3000 RPM engine vibration issue?
Thank you much in advance.

The software issue did not resolve the issue for me. Replacing the downpipes resolved the issue. Have them check the active engine mounts as mine were cracked. I do not have any experience with the APR pipes.

My dealer replaced the downpipes earlier this year, no questions asked. It makes a huge difference. There's no more vibration, and shifts are really smooth. I didn't realize how bad the vibration really was until the downpipes were changed.
