Default 2018 SQ5 Lane Keep Assist

I am not seeing my lane assist kicking in where it gently steers you back to your lane. Can any others chime in? If working or not. TIA

Mine seems to work pretty well, I have the steering time (in the active assist settings) set to early. when I had it on late, the effect only happens when the lane drift is in progresss, where as when it’s set to early, it actively guides you in the center of the lanes.

The road type plays a major part as well:- with freeways and dual carriage ways at speed, it’s much more noticeable.

I assume the active assist icon is showing the lanes as green or red ? If it’s grey then it’s not detecting the lanes.. you might need to clean the sensors if they never turn green.

Where's where's the setting for the active steering you can set the early?

Vehicle >left control button >Driveras- sistance > Audi active lane assist then select assist time which has two options -late and early. It’s on page 118 of the manual if you can’t find it.

Does it hug the passenger side more than driver for anyone else?

I believe the TAP is based on Mobileye - which has something like a 10% bias to the passenger side. Which is somewhat of a safety feature...

specifically : If FDV is more than 0.6 the final decision of the controller 19 is to hug the right lane delimiter 24 b. It will be understood that these ranges can be altered...
