Default MyAudi acting odd

I’m traveling this weekend and had an opportunity to actually put the MyAudi app to use....out on a boat in the middle of Lake Minnetonka and realized I forgot to lock my car in my buddies driveway. Got on the app...it accurately showed exactly where the car was, but when I tried to lock it kept telling me it could not reach the car. Of course when I actually need it, it doesn’t work. How does it get the gas tank, range, satellite location, etc but it cannot reach the car to lock it? Any ideas? When I got back to the house, I locked it with the key and the app updated showing it was locked, but again wouldn’t “reach” it when trying to unlock with the app to test it.

What version of the app are you using ? The newest, “red logo” one ?

Probably a weak cell signal where it's parked. Sometimes when it's like that, trying again in a little while works if the cell signal improves temporarily.

K. It hasn’t moved in 2 days so that could be it. I have tried several times just to check and it’s failed every time. Will be moving it in a bit and will check again.

I am having the exact same issue since Friday. The only time the app works is if you are in or very near to the vehicle. The locate vehicle works without problems.

I'm sitting here less than 25 feet away and I AM having issues.

1."My Audi" app is showing the vehicle unlocked when it clearly is locked (used the key fob).
2. Still cannot get the car's oil level to work. Have to retrieve it via the MMI.

That is frustrating. Mine is working fine on my 2019. But I have other connectivity issues with vehicle hotspot and connecting the vehicle itself. Idk it’s a pain
