dumb question... Do you need to subscribe in order to use the Myaudi app? Just got my car last week so Im a little behind the curve with learning everything.

As long as you have a myAudi account and we’re set up as the key user, it is free. Key user setup requires that code strip that was attached to one of your key rings. If I recall alphanumeric 8 digits, or something like that.

I bought used and dont have any strip. Hmmm.. another thing to ask the dealer I suppose. Thanks

I think it has something to do with cell signal I've used it 2-3 times mostly for novelty/testing but the one time I wanted it to work I was in the same boat (no pun intended) it just didn't, although in my case I just was inconvenienced to get my key (in a gym locker) as the car was already locked and I just wanted to get something out of it quickly.

Speaking for MyAudi - this is what I am getting today (after updating the app): My oil level is very low according to MyAudi, yet checking in the car's MMI (which I am inclined to believe over the Audi app) the level is fine. I have a dipstick but since the reports that the dipstick is too short to report an accurate level can't trust that either. What gives?? But then I searched and found it it a bug with MyAudi app which will correct itself: Still, hard to believe that this bug still shows up after 3+ years of MyAudi being in existence.

Still no luck. They had me reset and it worked for a day then quit. I’ve had a call with the Audi support daily for the last week; 5-10 emails asking me to send in screen shots. I finally lost it with the time I was spending and she calls yesterday to tell me their servers are down and anyone with a 2019 will not have access until it’s back up. Which I also think is a line they are feeding me. I can’t log in; can’t delete my account or anything.
