Hi all, I have a small oil leak at the rear of my engine 4.2 tdi (Q7 2009 ) pretty shore its the main seal area, its only coming out of the hole at the bottom of the bell housing, not higher up , not bad but annoying and smells when hits exhaust . Dose ANYONE know for shore (NOT HERD) can you remove the gearbox with out having to remove the engine as well ??? Thanks Mark

Hi if anyone wants to know , i talked to a Auto work shop they told me that they have done q7 4.2 tdi gearboxes , Gearbox can be removed with out engine but is more time consuming than to drop engine and gearbox together. Job for another day , Not rushing into it.
