Default 24 S5 black optic tires

In the market for an S5 w/ black optic package. I see the standard tires are summer which I would have to swap out or sell.

coming from a car with 255/35/20 (run flats) I had to replace 4 tires in about two years or so. The Audi has 265/30/20. These tires are even thinner what's everyone doing about it is there anything to even do?

My A5 had summer tire package on it. I swapped the tires out with one size larger tire that what was on there. I think i did 265/35 all season tires. The difference was immediate. A. they filled the wheel wells nicely. B they upped the ride height by an inch which was very noticeable. Doesn't feel like my **** is draggng down the road. it sits up quite nicely. The roads here in Chicago are brutal on low profile tires, along with all the speed bumps on side streets.

I did the same initially and am now sizing down to 19" - most likely 275/35 or 265/35

That's interesting. Looks like they changed the tire size for the BO package since last year. My '23 S5 SB w/BO package came with 255/35/19 summer tires. I don't blame you for wanting to change those out.

I will eventually get Michelin pilot sport 4s in one size wider (275/30/20) but plan to test the vehicle limits with the oem tires on the autobahn every single day to/from work.

I also have a 23 S5 SB with BO and it came with 20s. I bought 19s from a user on this forum pre-emptively to downsize (and ended up bending two of them over a pothole anyway )

I have the black Optics package and I'm in New england. I just bought a set of 18s with tires that I run for the winter and swap them over between Seasons myself.

@ChicagoNB Your diameter is 1" bigger but your ride height is only raised by 1/2" . I made a similar change to mine.
