Leak Stop - Good or Bad?
Basically what it boiled down to was about $10 worth of leaky seals that took 8 hours to replace. Not an unreasonable amount of time considering the whole top of the air intake manifold needed to be removed. Total cost: $575
Several people suggested that I simply could have purchased a bottle of Leak Stop and added it to that coolant and solved all my problems for a mere fraction of the cost of having the work done.
Now I'm leary of adding any strange fluids to my car so I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this Leak Stop stuff and, if so, is it good or bad?
I'd appreciate any input for future reference.
