Default those of you who have had a leaking afterrun coolant pump...

Did you notice anything in particular that was causing the leak? Is there a certain fitting or seal that may be the weak point? Any way of telling if it was leaking all the time or only while it was actually running?

thanks in advance

Default I had the Orings leak on the pump back in 2001 or so...

I noted slight coolant loss and an occasional coolant smell.

Hope this helps

Default thanks, i am trying to compile a list of what commonly fails on them

i am on my 3rd one and now this one is bad enough that it leaks all the time and coolant runs out of the valley and is soaking my clutch...

i hope to come up with some sort of a new solution

Default 5 years and 7 months on the factory Aux. Water pump. Just replaced it last night.

The seal on it is what gave out. It leaked VERY slowly so it wasn't realy noticable in the coolant tank.

Default I've got a couple pics in my p'poster if that helps

I'm pretty sure mine only leaked when it was running. Once I knew it was leaking I would peer under the intake mani periodically, but wouldn't always see fresh "wetness" (LOL) after driving. I suppose a better check would have been to hammer on the car for a while to trigger it, then have a look. It was pretty messy regardless so I just decided to replace it.
