Repairing Heated Steering Wheel and Convenience Close? I STFA

My 98 2.8 is supposed to have the heated steering wheel because I have the cold weather package. Anyways, it doesn't work. I tried searching, but couldn't find if anyone has repaired or fixed their steering wheel.

Also, my convenience open/close feature is acting up. All the windows open fine, but when i put the key into the lock position and hold it, all the windows go up EXCEPT the rear window on the drivers side???

The only way to fix the heated steering wheel is to replace it...

...the heating elements are known to burn out after time.

Not sure why the windows are acting that way. Does it go up with the one-touch feature from the inside switch?

heated wheel?..

I have a 2000 2.7 with cold weather and it doesnt have a heated wheel??? was that an option back then... maybe with the power adjusted steering wheel u got heat??

It was included back in 1998 with the cold weather package...

In 2000 and 2001 I think only the 4.2 got the heated wheel..

Not available in early 2000's; they were having reliability issues...

that were reported in the community but they never owned up to publicly.
