LED display advice please-I am helping a friend out with an A3
he has a 2001 turbo 1.8 with a 5 speed tip trans that has what appears to be a random pattern of
missing pixels on the driver info panel.
there was a code that showed intermittent communication with the ecu and oddly the code showed in the tcu controller and the dash controller as well

Engine control unit
- No communication
- Open circuit in wiring or short circuit
- Use current flow diagram to perform fault-finding
Could this be the cause??
