Auxillary heater for cold weather
There are references in the service literature, but, I found nothing in the electrical or mechanical sections. Perhaps it is a Northern Europe only device. But with our recent cold weather, I'm thinking.....
Could it be some fuel fired device to prewarm the coolant?
Or perhaps a diesel engine exclusive.
I would like to install one of the whole car warming systems such as are available to the european market. Warm cabin, warm engine coolant, warm seats. All on a programable timer, just unplug the cord as you approach the vehicle. The fuel savings justify payback in short order. Well, perhaps not this year.

Diesel- and gas-fueled, based on some of the notes.<ul><li><a href="http://www.webastoshowroom.com/blueheat/">http://www.webastoshowroom.com/blueheat/</a</li></ul>
