Default Practicality seems right in line there. I love my TT, but practicality is not it's strong suit,

except for snow. I love seeing the BMW's, Mercedes, Camaros, Corvettes, ect., stranded and looking pretty hapless.

Default You should have seen the looks we got Saturday...

bought a wooden-framed mirror that measured about 3feet by 4 feet, stood it vertically behind the seats, slipped the bottom edge just in behind rear cupholder, slid over to passenger side so I could reach up behind my head and hold both sides... Yea I got some wind buffeting but we got the sucker home...you should have seen the looks we got ! Who says a roadster isn't practical? ;-)

Default Oh well, s/he didn't even know they weren't actually in a quattro ...

Unless they sell a 180Q version of the TTR in the UK (that we don't have over here), the "single tailpipe" meant that was a 180 front-wheel drive.

It goes without saying that any reviewer who doesn't know whether the car is front-wheel or quattro need not be trusted. (Though I as a proud TTR owner do agree it has little "practicality" in the sense of hauling stuff, people, luggage, building materials, etc around.)

Default They seem to have forgotten about the Porsche Carrera 4 cabrio ....

..when they were talking about available awd roadsters. Or perhaps they were limiting their discussion to VAG products... :-)

Default Take it as a complement

If you want more practical, buy the coupe

Default No Aliens in Non-Quattro?

I haven't bought one (yet), so I don't know. Is this true? If so, I might have to rethink my purchase...

Default Practical . . . who needs practical!

Leech-like grip--YEP
Hood like a cowpat--??
Modest-sized boot for 2 people with romance on their minds--YES!! Isn't this the point?

Moral of the Story=Indulge! Indulge NOW! ;-).
