Warrenty repairs
Just got my car back from 1 day at Audi of Charlotte. I reported a number of things plus it needed service so it all didn't get done and I have to bring it back. However, I'm happy to report that they were very good about my issues.
The two that I didn't figure they would help on were the radio and the glove box. The glove box handle was just a little loose. It was just too easy to open, but truthfully, it was working ok. I'm sure not too long in the future, it would have failed, but they just went ahead and replaced the whole glove box.
The radio one blew me away. The previous owner of the car somehow managed to wear off the labels and paint on about 8 of the radio buttons. The stereo was perfectly functional though, sounded and worked great. Again, they just went ahead and replaced the radio, no fuss no muss.
So far so good. I feel pretty smart now buying a 02 with 6k miles left on the warrenty rather than the 01 with fewer miles but no warrenty left on it. It's not often I feel smart, so don't think of this as bragging. Plus I'm pleased to know that Audi of Charlotte is a quality dealership.
