Default I don't know exactly how to search the forum for this problem, but...

I was driving home a little while ago and all of a sudden, all my gauges dropped to zero, I lost throttle response, the radio and a/c cut off, and then it all came back on, fluttered for a second, dropped off again, then everything was fine. Then it drove perfect on the way back home. The entire episode lasted total about 4 seconds. I had thought it may have something to do with the connections coming from the battery (since it was relocated a few weeks ago), but even if the battery came disconnected, the alternator would still charge it, and vice versa. So I can't see how the whole system could be seeing a huge drop, unless the computer itself is just cutting in and out. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Default If you indeed have relocated the battery, check *all* those connections. An alternator alone will

not keep the car running.

Check your cables, battery posts, battery manifold connectors, fusable links, etc.
if you did mnot use a battery terminal cleaner, do it now.

Remember: disconnect the NEGATIVE cable first.

Difficult to believe its the ECU, but possible.
