TT rebuild update and question
I am piecing my TT back together following a timing belt catastrophe at 80k. It has taken a long time (rebuilding the head, ordering random parts, reordering parts when they send the 180hp version instead of the 225), but I have finally made a enough progress to start getting excited. The head is back on, turbo mounted up, timing belt on, valve cover on, and the intake is on. I am at the point where the engine mount needs to go back on. But unfortunately, the part of the mount that bolts to the engine has some damaged threads where the upper part of the mount bolts into it. I am thinking about just running a tap through it, but because of the importance of the piece, I am thinking it might be better just to replace it. Any thoughts?
I am going to spend every evening this week finishing it up. So hopefully, I'll have it up and running by Friday. I will post some videos of the occasion. But I may need some help from you guys (pictures, verification, etc) as there are an insane amount of hoses that need to be reconnected.

pictures of the car, the parts I'm putting in, the trauma, and my dog
