2 codes pulled with VAGCOM

16804 - Catalyst System; Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0420 - 35-00 - -

I have the 42 Draft Design dowpipe with cat and a stock 225 muffler. Im thinking its probably the O2 sensor. Any thoughts?

17978 - Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer
P1570 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

First time Ive ever seen this. Battery was pretty low the other day thinking may be due to low voltage. Maybe bad cluster?

Any thoughts on these guys. Thanks

Double check the battery..possible it threw that code>>>

did not contribute to the CEL....check it with a volt meter...

On the Cat error....if you have a downpipe, it could be two things..

1- o2 sensor as you noted
2- o2 sensor needs to be moved out of the flow a bit...you can use spark plug extenders as a fix...

Those are my initial thoughts...

Thats also a possibility...

I had Miltek exhaust before and no cel. So now with stock exhaust it might be backing up a little and throwing the code.

I have the same code and same DP

I just put it on so I haven't figured out a fix yet. I have a CEL eliminator from VAST sitting at home that I am going to try. I'll let you know if it fixes the problem.
