North Side Towing.....rant
I only have myself to blame, but I am a little upset that I had my coupe towed last night.
I had parked the car in a small lot with my flashers on while I ran my belongs up to my apartment. When I return less than 5 minutes later my car is gone.
Sad to think that someone watches a lot and dispatches a tower that fast. I called the number listed at the lot and the dispatcher verified the car was in tow (probably only blocks away). I ended up getting to the impound(clark/lawrence) while he is unloading the coupe in the back.
This is my third time to this impound lot (first time with my coupe) and all I can say is the impound business is shady.
I guess that .5 inch thick bullet proof glass and steel bars where you pay is there for a reason!!
Anyway, 20 minutse and 150.00 later I have my coupe....
My negligence, but seriously, something is wrong when you can beat the tow truck to the garage where it is being towed.
Also, I wasn't to happy to know that when I left the car, it was in 1st gear, and after I got into it at the impound, it was in neutral and the p-brake was up. Lady behind the bullet proof glass said "when they need to, they use a slim-jim"
