CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

It came on again for me toay, AND I lost a little power. 5700 miles to date. Anyone have any ideas what may be going on? No other lights are on while driving, juyst this one. I lose major power at 100mph and today, as the light comes on, i lose pick up power, but not to the point that i cant drive it.

i would get a vag and see what the problem is... (m)

and go back to where you got the apr chip and see what might be causing the problems you are experiencing...

You sound so desperate! Let me see if I can help. I also

had the CEL come on intermittently. After 3 visits to the dealer, it was simply a defective gas cap. It's been replaced and CEL hasn't come on since (knock on wood). The other problem I read about was that it might be a purge valve leak. The only difference between your problem and mine is that I didn't notice any significant power loss. Good luck.
