HIT a deer! What a GD week! i just got my ign-coils replaced yesterday!

****er just jumped up outta the grass...
Slowed to like 15-20mph...not huge damage but enough to have to replace front end (bumper, headlight, lower grill). hopefully no engine damage. Anyone know if i can use this accident to my advantage? I.E. bodykit and/or HID upgrade? or do insurance claims just replace stock parts?

dang...good to hear it wasnt too bad...

i have no idea on insurance claims but if you can make sure to get some ecodes and stage 3 HID!

depends on your insurance company... most will replace stock parts. time to paint lowers?

This is what I'm getting thanks to some idiot that crashed into my front driver side...

In addition to a new fender and other miscellaneous parts, I'm also having a Reiger bumper (instead of OEM) installed, and a pair of European halogen headlight housings (e-codes). Believe it or not, according to my estimate, to replace just one OEM headlight housing on the driver side, my insurance company said that part cost $425. Well I found a pair of the halogen e-code headlights for about $390 -- less money and I get both sides. I also asked the body shop to paint my lowers on the sides and the rear. Hopefully they'll do it. I'll try to post some before and after pics when I get my car back next week.

I'm not sure which insurance company you're with, but with mine, all they did was inspect my car for damage, and write a check out to me for the total cost of parts and labor. So technically I can take it to any body shop and also choose whatever parts I want (eg aftermarket, OEM, used, etc).
