Has anyone had their stock grill painted?

Curious as to what that would look like...
You know, painting the chrome and the slats to match the color of the car. Maybe painting the rings black?

Painted my upper and lower grill surrounds black. Of course, my car is black, so

I got away with not having to paint the grill itself. Pics will be up today or tomorrow.

My upper has painted black edge, lowers just removed chrome ring, that just about falls out. Upon removal, the bottom looks better I think.
