Diagnosed someone's horn problem yesterday...
Friend of mine who drives an 02 1.8T, but isn't involved with the forums or anything, was telling me (when I was showing him the airhorn on my vehicle) how puny he thought the stock horn was. I asked him to hit it for me, and it was the weakest little sound i've ever heard (meep, meep high pitched). So I explained to him that there are two horns on the car, one high and one low, and other people have reported one of those horns simply failing on their cars in the past.
I suggested that the low-tone horn was most likely out, and next time he was at the dealer he should ask them to fix it. Does this sound about right? Pretty funny, my airhorn trounced his little mini horn

Actually, I kinda wish it was a real meep meep
as I love the Roadrunner character, and it would actually put a smile on my face in the midst of my anger as I'm laying on the horn when someone cuts me off or whatever.
