What is the difference between RS4 and S4?

What is the difference between RS4 and S4?
This may sound like a noob question but I have been under the impression that the RS4 is the B5 (fast car) and the S4 is the B6 (fast car). The reason I ask is because I read in a previous post that there is no RS4 B6 yet (this is true). Implying that there is going to be one. This confused me because I though the RS4 is just a B5 version of the B6 S4.

The RS4 is supposedly going to have the same engine that was just in the RS6. (V8, Bi Turbo 450 HP) Essentially the same 340 HP 4.2 Ltr V8 that is in the new S4 but with Dual Turbos.
Also I would imagine some other perks, 18" wheels, bigger breaks, some sort of Aero Kit (much like ultra sport this year) as it will be tuned by GmbH.
And a sticker of about 20K above the S4. So say high 60's low 70's.

RS4 is a souped up S4 and it only came in Avant form
B5 came in both RS4 and S4 flavors. RS4 never made it to the US and it was an Avant only iteration. It had a souped up turbo, better clutch brakes, rolled wheel well lips and a whole bunch of other changes.

I knew that I should have read a Euro spec car in that number but even then would it not be 265 PS..
and not HP. The Germans use a different way to measure power. There is a slight percentage difference between the two. The PS rating is always a bit higher but not by much. Just trying to keep things very accurate, you know! Also maybe some people on this board did not know there was a difference between the German PS rating and the American HP rating.
