I posted this yesterday...but I had a scary transmission yesterday.
OK this freaks me out. While driving to AC I noticed that my car does not upshift anymore while driving in tiptronic mode. I also noticed that as I try to switch the lever from automatic mode to tiptronic I feel some resistance. It feels like the lever does't sit correctly in its position. My car is a 2003 1.8 and it only has 6000 mi. Has anyone ever had similar problem. Also any suggestions, comments, or recommendations. O yeah, while in the automatic "D" mode the car drives perfectly fine.

Visit your dealer, and don't use Tip until they fix it....(m)
It's probably not fluid, or the trans itself, since full auto works ok. It may be the sensor that senses shift requests is either out of place or faulty. You may get a new shifter. Just tell the dealer what you experience, and don't offer any conclusions that could send them in the wrong directions. Just the facts...
