Transmission Failure
Anybody else had a transmission failure on their A3? The warning message said "Transmission Failure. No reverse gear. Ok to continue" or something similar. a few minutes later the gear box then down shifted and I ended up with first gear only. Called Audi assist and they towed the car. Dealer called to say I need a new transmission.

We had a similar message a few weeks ago. When I hit the start button.
"Transmission Failure. Ok to continue"
BUT the motor hadn't started, turned it off then back on, good to go.
Took it the next week for something else, nothing found.
