VAG Com help
Just got my vag com and ave no clue how to use it and don't want to mess anything up by playin arround. Like for example how do I vag the windows to go down with remote and what light vags can be done? I've got an 03 1.8 btw TIA

OK, maybe this will help.
1. each of the modules listed correspond to the modules you see in the VAG-com console.
2. for your windows you want to go to the central convenience module-46
3. go to recode and enter 11852 in place of 11788. this will allow you to open and close windows with the remote.( you added 64 to the inital value, like the instructions on the Ross-teck page describe)
If you want auto locking in addition to the remote window functions change the coding by 32 to 11884.
Does this make sense?
As far as lighting goes unless you have a 2002 you cannot do much without turning on Daytime Running Lights(fogs on)

I got it after re-reading the sight, I didn't continue to read the whole page, I stopped after the #
's
Got the fogs as DRL's now (any clue if this will affect my trip and odometer? Thanx again BTW the cover works awesome, about 3 min after I put it on a bird landed on it and took a **** right on the cover infront of me!
