anyone know of a good jewelry store, or have a hookup at one? (that can make good stuff)
basically my girl lost her necklace today...
it's not all that complex, but I guess it might have been made in italy or something. the important thing is that it was a gift from her mom for her graduation when she got her MBA..... she's really torn up about it and I want to have it made at a place here locally and surprise her... (it won't be the same, but close enough)
it's a simple diamond in a white gold setting, I have enough pics of it, and I want a place to recreate it....
I guess it cost about 400-500 new, and I don't want to spend too much more than that,
so greenwich and places might be out
just want a nice recreation that won't cost me an arm and a leg.....

Can I make a suggestion?
If it's the sentiment that has her distraught, you can't replace that. Kinda like buying a puppy for someone that just lost their dog...it's not the same.
If you want to get her something, get something unique that's from you (and not a replica of mom's present from years past).
p.s. - Alex can send you to a good place to get a ring...but that might be more sentimental than you were looking for... :-P
