All you need is a 120psi compressor. Imagine if you can get 4 of them. that would make an instant lift.

depends on which you get. 12" or 17" max height. here is the description and specs:
The Arcan air jack is a compact and rugged alternative to the traditional hydraulic service jack. Once connected to a 120psi air supply, lifting is as easy as pushing a lever. The control valve locks in the air and keeps the jack inflated even with the air supply disconnected. The wide, flat steel base and internal steel support structure keep the jack stable while a powder coated finish withstands heavy use. I did this research last year, and ended up with this

90psi is all you need to lift one side of the car...it's heavy & huge, but that's what garages are for!

one of the guys on I believe the D2 A8 forum got around that...
... he bought a scissor jack and quickly got tired of driving up on boards, as I recall... he dug a pit in the garage that the scissor jack fit into.
