Yes, that is carbon fiber. In fact, the photo does not do justice to the beauty of the finish. The multifunction steering wheel is a must-have option; the only drawback is the absence of the paddle shifters (although according to the dealer's order form, they were supposed to be available with this wheel for '05). Overall, I am immensely happy with this car!
