Headlight leveling question,thanks..

so I had my headlight replaced and now I am getting an error message for it not being "leveled". Do I have to take this to the dealer or can I just "reset" this with a VAG? I don't want to reset it with the VAG if they actually do something at the dealer that requires "skill"

Take it to the dealer. The level has to be "learnt" by the Vag. ;-)

Thanks Wes, another question..

so when I turn on my headlights...the high beam "signal" also goes on. Haven't been able to check whether the actual high beam goes on since I was driving during the day, but does this mean I can't use my headlights until I get them leveled (do I have to get to the dealer ASAP) or can I just wait a bit and take my time ( im busy and rather wait)

Hmm....that is interesting. Not sure why the high beam would be activated.

That sounds like it's been wired a little funky. Who did the install? Are they e-codes, or regular us-spec?

It only takes about 2 minutes to do the VAG.
