Default Why I choose GIAC and why it doesn't affect my friendships

I see GIAC cars on the dyno and their AFR's are near spot on and they develop good power. I see and hear of GIAC cars (both customers and sponsored) on the race track and they are fast and reliable. I've seen cars with a different brand of chip swapped over to GIAC and then develop an extra 20kw or thereabouts instantly (dyno proven) ! GIAC powerd cars alwasy drive well - the 1.8T's have a heap of midrange torque that I have not experienced with any other brand. I choose GIAC because for value for money, you can't beat it here in Oz. I would feel ripped off paying, for example nearly $2k for an R32 program when I know I can have the similar GIAC product for only $795 ! I have known people to have had other brand chips, swap to GIAC and be much happier with the performance gains using GIAC. I am happy with GIAC - I have had GIAC in two VW 1.8Ts and I can highly recommend the product , and especially their Sydney dealer, Sebastian from Euro Automotive.
Whether it be APR, MTM, GIAC, OETTINGER, WETTERAUER, WHATEVER ELSE is out there, it's your choice and it's your money.

Oh - and just for the record, I am mates with both Chux and Lucas for the reason that they are both nice guys regardless of which VAG aftermarket chip product they use and/or support.

hehehehe

there was a bit of heat in some other posts/threads but I just said this as I wanted to outline something / make a point. You are also a fine example of why your choice in chip product doesn't mean you have to then dislike someone who sells a product that you considered but didn't buy. If I dislike someone it will be for a good reason - hehe

Default $1500.00 installed for GIAC Chip.

A couple of thousand more and i could have the T-28 Kit from PES.

Think i'll spend the 1500.00 on handling improvements.

Default pes kit is more than a few thousand more.

They Retail for $3700 US.

so you have to work out change in dollar, GST and Duty + Shipping.

and Handling can easily cost the same amount, depending on what you want to get.

I ended up putting in Stasis Motorsport kit, that retails for $3995US.

Thats After I had a Eibach/Koni setup, then went to H&R/Koni, now the stasis is third suspension installed, and finally happy..

Is there much difference between the eibach/koni and H&R/koni's?
