Suspension & Clutch

Hi Everyone,

I have a A4 1.8T and I am looking at changing my stock clutch and suspension. I currently have a GIAC chip and K03, and will be going with a Front Mount and K04 later next year. What would you guys recommend?

what was the price of the giac chip if you don't mind me asking? considering one for my s3

Clutch: Werks of Art - probably Stage 3 if you want a KO4 with GIAC programming. Thats pretty much the setup I have at the moment. Stage 3 clutch w/ 15lbs flywheel, KO4, FMIC, Zorst & GIAC.

Suspension: All depends on what you want out of the car and what your budget is and what level of harshness you are willing to tolerate. Budget around $4K for anything decent. ie. a good adjustable coil over set-up.

I got my chip for $1500, best speak to Lucas_Gchip to see how much it is for your car.

Have fun with the S3.

thanks for the advise.
Did you source the Werks of Art stage 3 clutch from Oz or overseas?

Would also like to know how is the stage 3 for daily driving? Is the pedal overly hard and needs to be stompped on each time?

I have to say your car not only looks good but has the grunt to go with it. Very nice indeed.

Yes - Werks of Art is USA. You can order locally through Euroclass though.

Stage 3 is ok for daily driving. Pedal is same as stock feel or slightly firmer. Certainly doesnt require stomping on.

Stage 4 is a different story though - its much firmer than the S3.
